Reaching people with the life-giving message of Jesus. That is the whole thing, and everything else we do runs through it.
Community Culture Church is a place where people meet Jesus, get into life-giving community, and are welcome exactly as they are. We are trying to build a room where anyone can have an honest encounter with Christ, find the gifts God put in them, and then actually use them for something that matters.
We are one church in two towns. Two buildings, two Sunday rhythms, one family and one mission.
Our name is not an accident. These four are the filter for how we spend a Sunday and everything around it.
Church exists for others.
We are not here for ourselves. The welcome at the door, the parking lot team, the kids rooms: it is all aimed at the person who has not walked in yet.
Church empowers people.
God handed out gifts on purpose. Our job is to help you find yours and then hand you something real to do with it, not keep you in a seat.
Church encounters God.
Sunday is not a show to watch. We come expecting God to meet people and change them, and we build the room to make space for that.
Church is enjoyable.
Following Jesus is the best news a person ever gets, and it ought to feel like it. Expect to laugh, expect to be glad you came, and wear whatever you want.
